2.3L engine for a 4kq?

Hi,

Someone on the list was installing a 2.3L engine from a type 44 car into
their 4kq.  There is a 86 5000CS non-turbo with 100k miles sitting in one
of the yards in Portland.  Is this the car with the 2.3L engine and intake
manifold/fuel injection that makes installation into a 4kq a snap?

If anyone has any information (especially the lister that has/is doing the
conversion), please e-mail me.

P.S.  Yes, I know that an MC engine is "the" way to go.  However, for $150
and a couple of weekends of labor (1 to remove the engine from the car in
the wrecking yard and one to install it), it would be a good, cheap upgrade
(maybe).

P.S.S.  Anything else on a 86 5000CS non-turbo that is worth taking?  A
buddy already got the beige leather/suede manual sport seats/complete
interior...
