RAC rally over

Just finished watching the RAC rally (or whatever it's called this week)-
what a dramatic finish! The stars were dropping off like flies when the
Welsh forests claimed their victims, leaving a fight between Richard Burns
in his Mitsu and Carlos Sainz in his Corolla- which Richard won
comfortably. Especially when, 500 metres before the end of the last stage,
Sainz' car developed an engine fire! Now that's drama! I could really
sympathize with co-driver Luis Moya, who smashed the rear screen of his car
with his helmet in a fit of rage.

Plenty of spectacle, some great driving and beautiful scenery. Maybe next
year I'll see it in person...
