Re: Can Audi transmissions be made to spin backwards?
While I don't have an answer on the transmission question, I am
interested in the idea of a 5 cylinder in a Vanagon. I am presently
looking down the barrel of a wasserboxer rebuild and I'm seriously
considering alternatives such as the 2.0 inline VW conversion. The Audi 5
cylinder would of course be far better because of it's additional torque
and power. Can you tell me if the South African spec Vanagons have any
different body panels or other prohibitive differences.
