Visit with Unka Bart and the faire Dora

The wife and I just finished putting 2K miles on her new Blazer (the Audi
woulda been much more fun to drive) and retrieved our birds (all 6 - soon
to be 7) this AM. Drove straight home from Annapolis - 13.5 hours. I now
have second interviews coming with Nordson and Heidelberg - both out of
Atlanta area.

Had a wonderful afternoon with Bart and Dora. Bart is retired now (spends
2+ hours at the gym daily and looks great!). Loved his house and the 2.4
wooded acres.
When I asked him if he liked retirement he said "Does a fat baby make rude
noises?!". We discussed current and former pets most of the day. Bubba the
red feline was everpresent and wonderful.  Fantastic fresh oysters and
apple cider.
Looked over the vunderbar pearl V8q 5spd and the flaming RED P-car convert.
Seat time next time - it was dark when we left and I didn't know the roads
well enough - though Bart was more than willing.  
We discussed the upcoming Mt W and Monterey Historics.

Let him know if you miss him. Curmudgeon he ain't...
