Bosch Triple Points seemed great in my 1988 90Q until the center electrode
of the number 2 spark plug came free from the porcelain, got sucked out the
exhaust and into the number 1 cylinder where it found a happy home imbedded
in the top of the piston and made a "rap" sound every time it hit the
head!!  I figured after a month without my car and an $800 bill, I would
use the platinums.  They have worked great for me, now with 10K on them.
BTW, the triple point plug's porcelain didn't crack!!  I still have the
plug and my $800 glob of metal!  Thought about calling Bosch, but figured
I'd never hear back.  Good Luck.
