Looking for help with shipping from States...

Hi!

This is absolutely non-Audi related. Sorry.

I'm looking for a fellow q-lister who would be willing to
accept some PC equipment for me in the States and mail it
to me in Cape Town, South Africa.

The equipment would simply be a motherboard, a memory
DIMM and a video card. The company I'd order from is in
California. Most of the online stores ship via UPS and
FedEx and that winds up too expensive, others just don't
do international shipping. Those that ship just have
high prices anyway or just don't have the products.

I want to pay them by credit card. So I'm possibly looking
for someone who also has access to a credit card billing
system that can take a payment from me for doing the shipping
to Cape Town.

Weight is most likely under 5kg (10lbs).

Is there anyone on the list who can help with or perhaps
knows of a international courier or shipping service that
I can contact online that has dirt cheap costs?

So, to finalize, the plan is to find someone close to CA
(a state right next door would be good in order to avoid that
CA tax thing), have the store ship to them, have them
re-address and re-mark the package (for customs), send it
through surface (or maybe air) mail, then bill me for the
shipping via credit card.

Can anyone do this for me? Please let me know? I can find out
the weight of the products from the store and then maybe
someone can find out how much standard shipping would be.
The components are cheap and some are just not available
here (Tyan motherboard, for example), some are ridiculously
expensive here (video card for $200 as compared to the same
thing for $95 in the USA). Shipping for a $104 card from
one store was $21 US Air Parcel, I think surface is about
half that, otherwise it came to between $50 and $75 for
things like UPS and FedEx. For a $104 card? Like I don't
think sooooo!!!

list is huge contact base into the States for anyone
located out of it.
