Re: picked up the UrQ, couple things wrong...

So far, thank you everyone for your help...i have a checklist of things
to look at....

couple things to add. It is definitely not the boost cut-out as all that
happens is simply that i lose turbo boost, but the car keeps
accelerating, but much slower...

Also, supposedly all of the hoses are new, i am sure they used the
wastegate from the MC, and it is their chip, which i believe is identical
to the one IA sells.

I noticed that it also never quite reaches 1.8 bar (i dont know the exact
conversion to psi, what, 12?), at least not that i have had a chance to
look at...the highest i have seen on the guage appears to be about
1.6-1.7 or so.... When the problem happens, it fluctuates very slightly,
then drops off to 1.0 or 0 positive pressure...

as far as the alternator thing supposedly being a fusebox thing, that
makes no sense as the fusebox was just replaced by 2bennett while the
engine was being converted...

I would pull codes immediately, but alas, i have no way to do it. Andrew
has a lead coming into the passenger cabin, but i have nothing to hook up
to it to pull the codes...If i did, all of this would probably be solved
already...

Im gonna give him a call and see what he says....What is frustrating is
the fact that when the car is in there, it takes a long time to get it
back, and my father is so upset already that they took about 3-4 weeks
too long to do the conversion, i dont know what he would say....

Alas.... :o(

But so everyone knows, its an 86 MC engine....so there is some more
info...

later...
