another boost idea!

i just remembered that before i moved to the toronto area i knew a heavy
equipment mechanic. while visiting his workplace (kenworth) i noticed all of
the wonderful assortments of spools of  reinforced silicone hose in a
variety of diameters, that is used on heavy trucks and equipt. if any of you
are close to a heavy equipt/truck dealer/servicecentre it may provide a
source for a readily available 'cut to length' turbo hose. when i needed a
special length and diameter for my ford van after hours,( these places are
open 24 hours) the tech simply cut off a few feet(the hose, not his own) and
gave it to me...the cost of billing wasn't worth the effort.
