Valentine 1

I purchased a Valentine 1 about one year ago, after hearing how great it is.
The radar detector part is very good, almost to sensitive.  The laser part
seems to be useless.  The laser usage here in Washington has increased
dramatically in the last year.  I will go by patrol cars with the cop
standing outside his car with what looks like a small video camera pointed
at oncoming traffic (us).  My Valentine has never made a beep in these
instances.  If you have an older Valentine 1, don't waste  your money on the
upgrade.  If you do not have a detector, spring for the Valentine 1, and the
tip for buying the 30 day old ones for $359 was a good one.  I wish I had
known that!
