Re: How safe are our tyres?
Correct me if I am wrong (I know you all will) but the instance with the
Testarossa was that the idiot had an H-rated tire or something equally
stupid on the car and was driving at a _sustained_ speed in excess of the
rating. A blast up to 150 and back down on a tire rated for 130 or so won't
blow it. It is sustained use at a speed in excess of the rating.
