Well, I can think of 2 other tires in that size, both very modern.
The Perelli P7000 (the Summer version), and the Dunlop SP9000.
The Yoko AVS Intermediates are expensive in the UK? Right now you can
get
them in 215/50-15 for US $100, the other 2 are about $150.
Also, someone else mentioned that the Tire Rack rated the P6000 a higher
performance tire than the P7000. If I remember correctly, the P6000 was
the summer version of that tire, while the P7000 was the SS or
"all-season"
version. Not a fair comparison.
