Re: 86 4kq dies while moving

Thanks for your suggestion. I have not used any kind of fuel filler cap.
Everything on
the car is standard to Audi. I have a locking gas cap so I doubt anyone
put anything
in the gas tank.
BTW - The car is still at the dealer's. They checked the fuel pump, fuel
pump relay
(I told them to check the fuel pump relay circuit board in particular
based on suggestions from the list). All to no avail. The service writer
told me he has had a Porche 911 in the shop for 5 weeks with the same
exact problem. Since it is too dangerous to drive I plan to leave the car
there until they find the problem.
I love that car and hope I can get it back soon.
