The Euro lights can be adjusted so that you can get the light fruther (especially
with 100/90W bulbs.
I test the aim by driving behind someone. I am satisfied only when the cutoff
line does not go over their tail lights taking into consideration my car's load
(rear sagging) the whole range of distance between the cars and if both cars are
on level ground (i.e. one not going over crest or valley).
The Euros also spread the light better in my opinion. With the DOT light I felt
like there are two flashlights pointing down the road.
Also a good test is to see how many people from oncoming traffic flash you their
high beams : )
