ABS off light

I have been working on a friends 1991 200 quattro. Today fixed a minor
electrical problem, fuse #4 was going to ground somewhere. Found the wire
in the circuit was going to ground, but need more information.

Problem 1. Does any one have the electrical diagrams for this circuit they
could send me. Right now I have just eliminated the wire form the circuit,
due the fact that I do not know where it goes. Everything appears to work,
but still I would like to do the job right.

Problem 2. The ABS off light now lights up when you turn the key on and will
stay on. The switch has no effect. After a short time driving, 200-500
feet it will go off if you push the switch. There is a intermittent short
in the instrument panel that will cause the direction indicators and the
bright light indicators to light dimly, include this because I think it
might be related. The ABS brakes appear to be working(i.e. pulsing of the
brake petal under hard braking). The switch will cause the ABS relay under
the drivers side dash to click, switch is good. Does anyone know the wire
color that goes to and from the light and where they lead to.

TIA
