I have replaced the plastic guides on my seats (82 coupe, out of 83 Urq)
and welded the broken frame/pan attachment. There is still some
"rattly" play, in both seats - the passenger seat drives me crazy
because with no one in it, it rattles on every bump. As far as I can
tell, it is metal on metal wear at the fold-forward point. While the
200 doesn't do this, there is still a "foldability" there, due to the
seat back angle adjustment.

I hope soemday to narrow it down and fix it but right now I'm just
resigned to it. Take a little look see every time I'm in the area, have
yet to figure out where to put some damping material to kill it.

The seat side tracks also wear I'm sure. Worse yet (I guess) I'm sure
the holes in the center track, part of the seat, wear larger and that is
the third mounting point. Just for fun - try moving the seat forward or
back and see if the motion is as pronounced as before. Only thing I can
think of to fix this is to drill all the holes a bit bigger and sleeve
the pin with metal or plastic... not fun.
