Craig Jones gone?  This is bad news.  One of the best things about
Schaumburg Audi was their performance modifications abilities, and that was
pretty much Craig Jones.  They chipped the UBERWGN for me, at the start of
the lease, and guaranteed that it would not be a warranty problem.

It would be real good to know where he landed.  I bet the Lakes Region
Quattro guys know where he is, he attends their events...

These are the two makers of aftermarket throddle bodies I have heard of
so far.  Does anyone know of any other manufactures, and does anyone out
there have a web address for Schaumburg?  I have added a Stebro exhaust
and a K&N cone filter, I guess the throttle body is the next step.  Any
comments on either product would be appreciated.

I think the TAP and Schaumburg are the exact same mod, so just go for the
lower price.  Craig Jones used to be the Audi performance person at
Schaumburg, and he is the one behind their mods.  He is friends with Ivor at
TAP (I think he used to drive for him), so TAP just resells his mod.  Craig
left Schaumburg about a year ago, and I heard he went to a VW dealer or
something.  I would try and track him down and talk to him about the
throttle
body mod first, he's a nice guy.  I'm sure someone on the list knows where
he
is....
