Checking Out an S-4

I just found a '92 S-4 with 125,000 miles near me for $13,500.  I was
looking for a wagon but this seems too good of a deal to me to pass up.  Dk.
Green with Palamino interior.  Anyway what should I be checking when I look
at it to verify it's condition.  I'm mechanically adept (built car and truck
engines for a living for 10 years) and am usually called on to check out
cars for other people.  So I don't need the basics but I do need leads to
the specific problems of this model.  How do I check the bomb, etc.  Thanks
for any help this list can provide.
