That's interesting. Have you had and previous problems with the left?
The reason that I ask, is that the left is a "known failure" item
on 1992-93 V6s...

I found two options when the left side went on my '93 90. You can
get the OEM cat, from typical list sources, for around $800.
Clair Parts Express also had a custom aftermarket option, for about
$350, if I remember correctly. It's a nice piece of fabrication work.
I opted for the OEM part because the aftermarket one used a smaller
"coffee can" cat (though the pipe was full-bore 2.5").
