I have Whothehellknows Brand Super Cheapo Floor Jack that requires
periodic opening of an air vent screw to get all the way up (insert
Monica joke here).  I don't follow exactly what's going on in the guts
of the thing, but obviously it gets some kind of air pressure built up
on the wrong side of the piston somehow.  Took me several years of
living with it before I RTFM and tried the bleed screw.  Works great.
