Re: Thanks for the Audi Help

Brian,
Well it seems that more ppl are swapping in Turbo MC-code engines
in since Duane's 4000q was featured in European Car. If I owned a 4000,
and had the cash and desire to modify it, I would start with the
suspension and brakes, then do a Turbo Conversion.

However, the best possible modification you can possibly do is not to
the car. It is to yourself. I think investing some money going to a
hi-po driving school (skippy, bondurant, etc) would be the best possible
option. That kind of "mod" goes with you from car to car and does *not*
depreciate (of course you can't sell it either).

Before I spend another any significant money on a performance mod, I'm
gonna invest it in myself.(when I have the money anyway..lol)

A few places sell "chip" mods, however the cost/benefit relationship
isn't there IMHO. Other places sell coil overs, etc for the car. Mike
Williams, I believe, has the 2bennet coilover set up on his car and is a
lister. Although he's currently utterly obsessed with his new toy (urq),
perhaps he can give you the rundown on that.

Check out 2Bennet..I think they are going to have the most exhaustive
performance mods for the car...
