There should be a switch at the center vent to close the vent. IF
it doesn't work go to a junk yard and pull one or ask the list if anyone
has a spare. It is supposed to be like this as it allows you to get
fresh air from outside when you want. I LOVE it. In winter it wakes me
up with fresh air without having to open a window in a snow/rain storm
as I get stuffy with the heater going all the time. Get tired too.
IN summer, if you dont have AC the center vent tends to be cooler than
the other vents I think since it is a straight shot in. If you want you
can join that vent to the others with some modifications but you have to
take dash apart to do so. I think HUW has this outlined on his web
page.

Pretty easy BUT stuff can be siezed on there. I had great trouble
separating tie rod end so I removed tie rod from subframe instead. I
hub puller thing could be needed to push out rear axle as some seem to
be in there really well. Some come out with a tap with a rummer mallet
though. Depends on car. Good choice on struts. Intrax springs rule.
They lower more than the H&R and Eibach set ups but LOOK AWESOME. They
lower the front a little more than the rear which I thinks makes the
nose down stance look Bad A*S.
You may want to change the Control arm bushings while you are in
there and while you are there Sub Frame bushings can go bad as can diff
bushings. Subframe is the hardest.
