I'll sell you a slightly used one. Only $3,800. :-)  It's a portable like
state police use to spot check truck weights.  We use it to weigh our
trucks' loads.
But seriously, you could try your town dump/landfill.  Most have a scale at
entrance to weigh refuse trucks.  Operator might need some "incentive" to
let you weigh in (5 spot and the promise not to tell anyone).  If you live
in Bucksnort, better call ahead to see if they even have a scale :-)
