Re: Screwy A4 locks
The central locking system in the A4's are very versatile. I figure what happened to
yours is that it somehow got re-programmed to be in a different mode. Your dealership's
service dept. SHOULD, and I do say should, though they probably don't, know how to
re-program this.
Other things you can do:
Program the doors to lock at ~15MPH
Program the key fob remote to roll up windows/close sunroof
I'm sire there are more, these are the ones I'm aware of. My dealership knows about
them, but refuses to reprogram my car. :(
