And the 'sweet spot' on the curve can be expanded by about 1500 or so
RPM's pretty easily...

Yes, the dead cat really saps power, but that got replaced on a recall
:)
I often get the impression that I'm losing something with the autobox,
especially accellerating uphill.  I keep planning to try the Redline
synthetic transmission fluid in the vain hope that it will help
(probably not).  Actually I hope to try it this winter to (hopefully)
help with some disturbing tranny behavior when it's cold out.
