Batteries !

Greetings !

Need to replace the battery in my 4kCSQ, anyone have suggestions as to one
that might be better than the next ?   Experience, or ideas would be
appreciated.  I reside in the Pacific NW, (Portland, Or), and although it
doesn't get too cold here, I wanted something that is durable and would last
a while.

Looked at the battery last week, and decided to clean the positive and
negative posts.  Took the leads off the terminals, and they both crumbled in
my hand.  %$^& ! ! !   So, after rigging them back together, I committed an
"Audi Felony" and inquired at the local dealer (Sunset Imports) about new
battery wires.  OUCH !  $104.00 for the positive and $ 44 for the negative.  

Ok - NEXT !  I'm still searching for aftermarket wires . . . . . .
