What to attach Spoiler With?

I need to Re-Attach my rear spoiler on 4kq.  The factory goop seems to
work well but what is it.  I would like to use a similar material.  I am
worried 2-sided tape is too thin and wont hold/seal edges properly.  The
bolts hold it on but the stock stuff was like a semi cured silicone.
Ghould I use the stuff they use to put door trim on?  Any make/brand
suggestions.  Thanks
