Lumina luminaries

I hear a little noise about someone who claims Luminas are better cars than
Audis - 

Some years ago I met this guy's sister. She very earnestly told me that the
reason for all this crazy weather we've been having lately is that we
*persist* in building houses with square corners and the extra wind
resistance is slowing down the rotation of the earth and before long it
will stop entirely and we will all fly off into space.

This was all said in one long non-stop sentence - no pause for breath.

It is not possible to argue with people like this. My response to her (and
my suggested response to her brother) was to nod, and say in a concerned
voice "That's nice." and move away without further delay.
