"GM versus AUDI". Hey, why not Yugo vs. MB?

>I got the address wrong... the guy who is claiming that the Chevy >Lumina is a safer, better value than an Audi is on Yahoo's "message >boards" under "Autos" then "By make" then type or click on "AUDI".

Apparently this is not the guy who smashed his Lumina into the rear of
my 200 two years ago while I was standing in the middle of a dark-red
traffic light one dry sunny day. He lost his nose: both fenders, the
hood, the grill, the headlights, the car bled multicolour fluids like a
stuck pig.

Mine? Next time remind me to show you the 10mm dia x 2mm deep round
indentation on the bumper, imprinted by the bolt of his "NASCAR" front
vanity plate.

Also, my next door neighbour owned a Lumina, (sporting a "Eurosport" on
the side. In such case my 200 should be called a "Polaris" as in a
nuclear rocket).
One damp winter morning (those in the Philly area know that our
driveways become akin to a skating rink under a 5-10mm thick shield of
frozen condensation) both he and I were leaving for work. Mind you, our
driveways are inclined about 30° downwards the below ground garages, so
both cars were parked with the hoses down.

He was spinning his wheels pathetically, salting and sanding his
driveway and spinning his wheels again.

I couldn't resist the temptation:
-"Hey, Roy, whattdayathink if I just drop the clutch in reverse?"
-"You're nuts, you'll go through your garage door sideways."
-"Watch!!"

He-he. The car clawed the ice with all 4 Hakkas and just leaped out as
if it were on asphalt.

No, he did not run to buy a quattro, he's a "buy American" type of guy,
even if it is a lesser quality product.
But he did trade his Lumina for some boot-on-wheels Chebby (Blazer?).
Whatever.
