If it has perfect exterior and very good interior, it could still be a
$1000 car - easy to have a host of little things wrong to eat up the
value. In 14 years it's easy for lots of little bits of wood, zip ties,
and duct tape to accumulate as it gets "repaired". $3k would
practically have to be a show car under 80k.
