more on the a6 v8

audi has released details of the v8 a6 models including the saloon and 
avant (with air springs).

the 4.2v8 is released with the 3.7v8 is expected to follow.  all aluminum 
suspension and brake calipers.  wider track and flared wheel arches, with a 
modified nose (including aggressive air dam with air scoop) and headlights 
are all featured.  the front looks much more purposeful than the normal car 
with a squarer and chunkier look...no change to the rear with even the 
exhaust tailpipes being hidden....

quattro with esp (including edl) is offered as well as an option. 
 tiptronic only(!).  16" wheels standard with 17's as options.
