Help!!! Can't shift. Coin in auto transmission?

I can't shift my auto transmission into Park on my 96 A6Q.  Same thing
happend a few months ago, when my 2.5 year old put a coin in there
(Don't ask).   Spend $75 at Schaumburg Audi to take it out.

I have taken off the trim plate around the shifter.  Can't see a coin.
 Is it easy to unbolt the whole assemply, i.e. the black box you see
through the asssembly?  Other ideas?
