With the dash board apart (again :o(  ) and your engine running, you can
go sniffing with a can of starting fluid around your diff switch.  Give
a squirt and wait a second.  A rev in the engine indicates you've found
a vacuum leak.  Since that's the only area you've been in, likely you'll
find the leak there.
