Wierd brake behavior

Anyone have any ideas?

As some of you may know, it just dropped about about 40 degrees in the
last 24 hours here in the great northeast. Last night, the car was
fine, no problems whatsoever. This morning, when I left the house, the
car was dragging, both rear caliper were frozen "on".

Now, I know the first thing people are going to say, the parking brake
froze on, but I didn't use it, it's not even hooked up! I drove a
little way to see if they would unfreeze themselves, but no luck.

I would have thought in the cold, everything contracts, so everything
should have been looser. I'm not looking forward to troubleshooting the
brakes tonight whith the temps in the teens. :(
