re Re Question [headlights]

It seems to share the same front end design as the '93-'95 90--at least
from the pictures I've seen. Hmmm...I wonder if those neat headlights
would fit on my 90? I still haven't gotten a chance to call Phillipe
about Euro lenses.....

The RS2 headlights will work on your car, but you would need to add a
euro-spec bumper to have blinkers. RS2 lights don't allow the US spec
blinkers assembly.

time to ask.

Nope, sorry... this requires the later hood/hood catch plate (BTW
This site www.audi80.com has some very interesting info about
	'cross-dressing' type 89 Audis)

The projectors are phenomenal, but believe me- the H4/H1 lights
of the euro 90 are more than enough (unless you want to fry
rabbits).

I believe Todd Candey sells the RS2 bumper cover with Porche lights for
about $1100. (See Ramana Lageman's site for a view of the RS2 bumper cover,
and of Brenden Hull's ersatz S2 project.) All solutions of which I am
aware that use RS2 or S2 bumper covers require giving up the aluminum
bumper. What is crunch protection worth to you?

I am investigating less expensive means of adding turn signals that are at
least marginally aesthetic and retain the present bumper and its cover.
Progress is slow but continuing. The solution is expected to require a time
cost that may be significant.
