Re: Alldata CD



I got it last week. $18 at KMart (Popular Mechanics) and paid the extra $10
to get the TSBs.  SO far, I'm disappointed with it.  The pictures are
almost all unreadable - it looks like they scanned in faxes at 50dpi:
really nasty.  You can move the vertical bar to enlarge the graphics but
then you get a large, distorted unreadable image.  The TSBs aren't indexed
too well either.  The navigation is kinda funky too.  I'm sure there's good
info in there somewhere but after spending about 4-5 hours surfing through
it over the holiday, I'm not too impressed.  $30 is cheap compared to the
Bentley but I'd get the Bentley first.  

The Bentley may be kinda funky in its organization but it mimics the Audi
fiche from which it's derived.  Once you realize that all electrical stuff
is in it's own section at the end, it gets a lot better.
