Screwy 5spd Tranny Repair & Updated Webpage
Hey all i've been real busy in the Audi World lately, my 100CSQ has been in
the shop for the past 39 days (Yes 39) for a stupid 5spd tranny repair...
replacing all the dif bearings the 2nd gear hub, synchros, and new clutch,
tb, pressure plate.... i hope the car will work after this... Now
supposedly the guy (Mechanic) said in the beginning that the parts were
very hard to find, so just out of curiousity i called around to selective
dealers to ask if they ahd all those parts, and geewhiz they did and they
could be shipped next day... Well after that about ten days later my dad,
me ,and my friend Rob went to the shop to actually talk to the A$$hole in
person (Sorry), and from what i saw the tranny was out of the car but he
wouldn't let us see it. That lead me to think gee he hasn't taouched it
yet... and after that he got right on it called us and told us he'll tget
the parts tommorow, which was two tuesdays ago, and it'fd be done Friday
well, now its benn two weeks and he claims that he is still waiting for the
bearings.... I don't knwo what to do but he called yesterday and said that
the bearing would be in today Tuesday, and the car would be done
tommorow.... We'll See... I REALLY WANNA DRIVE QUATTRO IN THE SNOW.... Any
suggestions or thoughts?
Well also i've updated my webpage... Not the car of the month for any of
it, that'll come soon... but i've added a very interesting part on my
webpage under the Audi section its the "Audi Magazine Articles" section plz
check it you'll like it and plz don't not copy that webpage...
