87 Quantum with 87 5kT motor

Hey all,
I am new to the list and this is the first post, (probably of many). You
may have heard of the car I just bought it is a VW Quantum Syncro (87) with
an 87 5k turbo motor in it. The set up goes like this: the motor was bored
20 over with new pistons and cylinders, it is running a large Calloway
intercooler w/fan  that is mounted in the front fender, 2 1/2 inch
stainless steel exhaust, Haltech electronic fuel injection, VW distributor
30-32 degrees total advance (w/vacum disconnected for turbo retard?!?), it
either has a eurogrind cam or an ABT billet cam, the car is running 15lbs
of boost, there is a boost valve that works by bleeding off air before the
wastegate giving 6-15lbs of variation. The car is also decked out with lots
of Momo stuff and 3pc BBS wheels.

I live in WA state and bought the car in Long Island Ny, couldn't go much
further for a car. I flew out and drove it home with my dad. The car ran
good in NY (of course). About 4 hrs out of NY it developed a strong
intermittent stumble around 1500 to 2500 rpm. Cleared up at about 5lbs of
boost. Found that the fuel injectors were epoxied into the head and the
epoxy looked cracked. Put in some wood shims behind fuel rail and this
helped. The car is also quite hard to start when cold. This weekend I tear
into the belly of the beast. I will be pulling the intake manifold and
fabricating some sort of plugs for the injectors to go into. I believe the
injectors are 0 280 150 802 Bosch injectors. Anyone know of an adapter to
put these into this head? I also think it would be much smarter to run the
ignition from the turbo motor, what would this entail since they used the
Quantum flywheel?

Sorry about the length of this. This car is really fast. A good chunk
faster than a buddy of mines 83 Ur Quattro (that is from the seat of our
pants not official). I hope I can get it reliable. Any shop recommendations
in the Portland or Seattle area that would look at such a thing?
Any comments or warnings would be greatly appreciated.
