Best wishes
To all q-list members-
Thank you all for the enlightenment, friendship and many hours of fun you
all provided me with over '98. A remarkable year in a lot of aspects (not
in the least being the wettest year of the century here in Holland, making
my purchase of a quattro somewhat stupid- a jetski or a surf board would've
been a much better choice).
My three-and-a-half years on the quattro list have provided me with a lot
of knowledge (and a strange penchant for headlights...) and lots of friends
a long way from home.
If I hadn't been introduced to the world of Audis and gathered the
knowledge I now have from the 'list, I wouldn't have test-driven a q, and
I'd probably still be driving an '84 Golf 1.3 or somesuch. A lot less fun,
just cheaper and easier to fix.
So, a very happy and healthy new year to you and your family. May a few
broken bits on your Audi be the worst you have to deal with. (No, I don't
want you to have a year without breakdowns, or we'll end up with a year of
tyre, oil and pro/contra Torsen threads). ;-)
Enjoy '99 all!
Tom (feet on desk, bottle of beer in one hand, reclined in desk chair,
listening to Alanis Morissette's latest on the computer room stereo while
reading my back q-digests)
