Pentosin Bottle Leak Fixed

I had a pretty serious pentosin leak in the "new" '88 5kcstq. It was
leaking from the hose to bottle connection from the pump return line
(and other places). I tightened the hose clamps which did not help. What
I found was that the bottle has a lot of flashing from the molding
process that was not removed. I took the bottle out by removing the
bracket from the firewall. There are only 3 10mm nuts that hold it on,
which are easier to remove than it is to separate the bottle from the
bracket. I scraped the flashing off of all of the hose bibs. I trimmed
about a half inch from each hose and put it back together. I also
substituted "heater" hose for the return line, which was leaking at the
swaged end as well. I carefully cut the crimp off without cutting the
inner tubing and then just hose clamped the new hose on.
Important note: I find that the original hose clamps have a fairly
large hump on the inside, which is detrimental to a good seal. I use
good 'ol 'merican hose clamps. The trick is to use the little 1/4" wide
clamps as they bend around the small radii of the bottle fittings
easily. Bottle is now very dry on the bottom.
