<<Lifting the door handle activates the door lock heater function.  You 

<<- -might- have heated locks; it came standard on the 200q20v.

It was an option on the 100, tied in with heated front seats and heated washer
nozzles (the cold weather package). So, if you have heated front seats, you
should have the heated door locks.
