Re: '90 Blau radio in a 86....is it reasonable?
First There are adapters out there. I just put a brand new Blau Manhattan
in my 1988 80. The 80 has two ants with wierd connectors, the Blau had a
standard ant connector. The front in the Blau you have will be for the FM
ant the rear will be the AM/FM. I picked up the adapters at HH Gregg,
although any decent car audio place should have (or get) them. They should
also have the proper wire harness kits. You will have to connect the wires
properly and then plug in the clips to the radio. The top clip should be an
unamp output (ie preamp) The middle is amp output (FR, FL, RR, RL). And the
bottome is your power con. There should be a sticker on the radio giving
exact details as to what each pin is for. Good luck.
