Mike, you know better than this!
Looking at "closed auctions" in eBay, found a 1986 Audi 5000 Automatic
(yawn) with "ONLY 136 MILES SINCE NEW!!!!! THIS IS A BRAND NEW CAR" - Well,
Hello!
Chased it down over the past week (good luck calling people over the
holidays), finally talked to the seller of the 1986 Audi with only 136
miles on it today.
Evidently it has been driven a little while it has been on his lot - it now
shows 136,000 miles, no less - "But it still looks like a brand new car!!!"
me: "How much?"
him: "Reduced for the holidays to $2,800."
Sound of laughter, and then "click".
Deals that are too good to be true are too good to be true. Now if I could
only remember to take my own advice . . .
Best Regards,
Mike Arman
