I haven't, but one regulator I had around, metal cased, by Motorola
(data at url below) had higher on/off points on the bench so I used that
one (with new brushes).  I'm seeing 13v on the gauge sometimes with the
high beams on (400w), rear defogger on, and heater fan on 3.  I have
seen almost 16 just after starting in this cold weather, just for a mile
or two.
