90q20V tranmission compatibility

Sorry to add to a thread without any real facts, but I've been wondering for
a while:  Might the S4/S6 trans fit the 20v's?  I know for certain that the
output shaft and pilot bearing design is the same, since I replaced the
200's 3B flywheel (for the 016 trans) with an S4 flywheel in order to
accommodate a CQ transmission.  Also, the alpha-numeric designations are
similar:  01A for the CQ/20v90, 01E for the S4/S6.  Finally, I suspect
(again, no facts) that the euro 6-speeds are all built in the 01E case, and
they crossed over between the S4/6 and the S2.

If so, the (presumably stronger) S4/6 trans would be a very nice upgrade
from the seemingly perishable 01A.   Obviously, scarcity is an issue...
