Re: urq antenna problems
many, many thanks to all those that replied about
my antenna! my current thought is that the amp
simply has no power. someone said that it gets
power from the antenna power lead from the head
unit. i never hooked up this lead because i thought
it was only for activating power up/down antennae,
not powering an amp for it. i'll investigate and,
of course, report back!

-]Sounds and looks like an aftermarket Bosch antenna,
-]I have 2 like it in the garage. They are amplified and
-]need to be powered to work best. I had one on my
-]urq for years and it worked fine. Replaced it with an
-]amplified roof mounted fuba.
