Re: more heat!
I just got a new thremostat from Clair yesterday. I had asked for the
87C OEM specified one. Mack verified that that was the correct temperature
to use. They did not have an OEM one in stock, so he sent the Stant
substitute for a whopping $0.28 less. It was made by Wahler in Germany.
It states that it is an 80C thermostat. 7C can't make any difference
in my heat. At least any that I would notice. When I put it in I'll
watch the temperature gauge.
Are these things accurate enough to warrant a 7C difference in temperature
specification?
