<200t> one sharp beep when appling the brake at startup???

This just started recently. When I start the car (automatic) and press
the brake to pull it out of park, I hear one brief warning-ish sounding
beep. No warning lights, nothing seems wrong. According to the notice on
the pass. side visor the airbag was due for replacement in Dec....about
when this started. Is this some bizarre attempt by Audi to remind us to
replace the airbag???
