RE: SUVs in Chicago's Snow

As a Chicagoan,

I would like to say it was not a disaster on Sat and Sun when we got the snow. But on Wednesday morning everything was messed up. Most all of the bridges iced over
early Wednesday morning. By 7:00 am just about every intersate was bumper to bumper because of
accidents.

Last night one of the local news stations reported that a larger than expected number of SUV's were
stuck or hit something. They said it was caused by a lack of experince by their drivers. :)
4WD drive does not make one a good driver. My dad's neighbor got stuck on his driveway because(or so
I think) he did not know how to turn on the 4wd or lock the diff in his Range Rover Country.

Audi Note:
I purchased an '97 A6qw a few months ago. it is my first quattro but my forth Audi.
WWOOWWW!!!!
WOW, what a difference! It is great even with the goodyear RSA tires(stock, I think). The only time
it is not surefooted is in the deep slush!! But I was trying to make a tight U-turn. :)
Well, I guess I will never by a FWD again.
