Re: Fuel Gauge does not go all of the way up to the top when full



There is a lever on the right side of the gauge pod hidden behind a
small, louvered triangle.  This lever resembles real thick metal coat
hanger material.  Pop the triangle of plastic out with your fingers and
you might be able to see it.  This lever reaches up and over the dash
panel (inside, of course) and attaches to the fuel gauge.  It appears to
be designed to physically move the background panel of the gauge up and
down to a small degree.  I played around with it when I had the entire
panel on my dining room table repairing the odometer.  But I couldn't
get much movement out of it.  FWIW
