HID Light conversion
>From a motorcycle magazine, but I don't see why they wouldn't work in a
car:
I don't know if anyone else say this in the latest Motorcylist, but
under the "Just Released" section they have the following from Casper's
Electronic. I thought some of you might be interested:
"HID (High Intensity Discharge) Xenon lamp kits are now available as
replacements of existing H-4 headlamp applications. This lighting
system is said to provide three times the light output of halogen lamps,
with only half the energy consumption. The kit installs into your
exiting H-4 headlamp and consists of a 35-watt HID bulb, power supply,
H-4 adapter and wiring. Retail price is $395. For mor information
contact Casper's Electronics Inc., 1333 Wilhelm Road, Dept. MC,
Mundelein, IL 60060; (847)247-0484, fax (847)247-0483 or e-mail
